Nirgends wird mehr Unsinn erzählt als beim Thema Kabel. Zum Thema Kabel gehören Lautsprecherkabel, analoge und digitale Verbindungskabel, Stromanschlusskabel und diverse Geräte, um Störungen in der Stromversorgung zu minimieren oder zu beseitigen. Und zum Thema Kabel gehören auch die dazugehörenden Stecker, sowie die Konfektionierung der Kabel.
Ein paar Hilfestellungen
KEIN KABEL DER WELT KANN DEN KLANG VERBESSERN !
Jedes Kabel der Welt lässt Informationen verschwinden oder verändert diese. Es wird also am Zielort NIE zu 100 % das ankommen, was von der Quelle verschickt wurde. Was unterscheidet also ein besseres Kabel von einem schlechteren Kabel ? Ganz einfach − das schlechtere Kabel unterschlägt mehr Informationen, und greift im schlimmsten Fall noch in die zeitrichtige Wiedergabe der Musik ein (Phasenprobleme), oder verändert gar die tonale Wiedergabe (es werden also Frequenzen beeinflusst – mehr oder weniger Höhen, Bässe, oder Mitte usw.). Leider werden „schlechte Kabel“ oft als Kompensation für andere Fehler im HiFi System eingesetzt. Nach dem Motto „mit dem hell abgestimmten Kabel kompensiere ich die dunkel gefärbten Lautsprecher“ – UNFUG – FINGER WEG! Und einen Händler, der Ihnen derartige Ratschläge gibt, sollten Sie auch meiden, denn er hat keine Ahnung wovon er spricht.
Das war es natürlich noch nicht ganz. Den Rest können Sie bei uns herausfinden. Warum es wichtig ist, alle Kabel mit ordentlichen Steckern zu versehen, warum offene Kabellitzen einfach nichts taugen, wann sich eine bessere Stromversorgung und Filter auszahlen, und wann nicht − wie viel man investieren muss, etc. etc.

Unfortunately, “bad cables” are often used to compensate for other faults in the HiFi system. The motto is, “I’ll use the bright-tuned cable to compensate for the dark-sounding speakers” — NONSENSE — STAY AWAY! And a dealer who gives such advice should also be avoided, as they have got no idea what they’re talking about.

НИ ОДИН КАБЕЛЬ В МИРЕ НЕ МОЖЕТ УЛУЧШИТЬ ЗВУК!
Каждый кабель в мире теряет информацию или изменяет её. Следовательно, то, что было отправлено от источника, никогда не придет на 100% в исходном виде. Так что же отличает лучший кабель от худшего?
Очень просто — худший кабель теряет больше информации и в худшем случае даже вмешивается в правильное воспроизведение музыки (проблемы с фазой), или изменяет тональное воспроизведение (влияет на частоты — больше или меньше высоких, низких или средних частот и т.д.). К сожалению, «плохие кабели» часто используются как компенсация для других ошибок в системе Hi-Fi. Принцип «с ярким настроенным кабелем я компенсирую темные колонки» — БРЕД — ДАЛЬШЕ ОТ ТАКИХ! И продавца, который дает такие советы, тоже следует избегать, так как он не имеет ни малейшего представления о том, о чем говорит.
